AI LA Community, Inc.  (“AL LA” or “We”, “Us” or “Our”) is committed to your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit our website (the “Site”). or sign up to attend one of our events (“Events”)

TYPES OF USERS
We have three classes of people who visit our Site:Visitors – are people who visit our Site for information about our organization and Events.Members - are subscribers who pay to become a member of our organization and receive the benefits of membership.Attendees - are people who attend our events, either as Members, guests or by purchasing tickets to Events without membership.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT.
We collect information that may be used to identify or connected to an individual.  This information is called ‘Personal Data.’

Member Information. When you purchase membership, we collect your name, email, phone number, address and billing information.   We also keep track of your purchases and attendance at Events.

Attendance Information:  If you attend any of our Events, we collect your name, email, address and if you purchase tickets, your billing information. When you purchase tickets, you may opt to allow us to collect this Personal Data to communicate with you about future Events and other services of interest that we provide. We also track your attendance at events and may videotape or photograph the Events you attend in accordance with our Event Recording Policy.

Inquiries.  
When you contact us, we collect the contact information you give us and the content of such communications.

Tracking Information – When Visitors, Members or Attendees visit our Site or read email communications from us, we collect and log access to track use of our website and email outreach, including, but not limited to IP Addresses, device IDs, browser types and may serve cookies or web beacons.We use technologies, such as cookies, to customize content and advertising (we do not do advertising at this time), to provide social media features and to analyze traffic to the site. We also share information about your use of our Site with our trusted social media, advertising and analytics partners as described below.    - “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.    - “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.    - “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Social Media. We also may collect any reviews, photos or social media you post to our Site or link to your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or other social media pages and your social media user name (”User Content”).

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
First and foremost, we use your Personal Data to provide the benefits of membership, the Site or the Events you attend.  We use the information you provide to complete your transactions and administer our events. We also use that Personal Data to communicate with you regarding your membership or the Event you wish to, view attend or do view or attend.We use Personal Data and Tracking Data to improve our Site, member services and Events, and to improve your experience using the Site.If you are a member or opt to share your email contact information with us for the purpose of communicating future Events.

We use User Content and by posting it on our site or linking to it on the social media platform it was posted to.  We reserve the right to remove User Content at any time in our sole discretion.

Any photographs or video are used in accordance with our Event Recording Policy. We will also will use Personal Data to protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, abuse or respond to a government request.

HOW DO YOU SHARE YOUR DATA?
We share your Personal Data with third parties to help us use your Personal Data, as described above.  We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate the Events, process payments, administer your membership or purchases you make through the Site, to perform website and application-related services (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, posting your comments on blog pages, credit card processing, communicating with you on our behalf regarding Events, membership or our services that may be of interest to you, web analytics and improvement of the Site features) or to assist us in analyzing how our Site is used and who attends Events. These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We may also share Personal Data of attendees with our third party event hosts solely for security reasons.Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, abuse or respond to a government request.Further, We may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including your Personal Data, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy.

UNSUBSCRIBING FROM COMMUNICATIONS OR MEMBERSHIP
If you do not wish to continue receiving email communications from us, you may unsubscribe by following the instructions at the bottom of each email. If you are a Member , you may terminate your membership by contacting our staff [email protected].

DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

DATA RETENTION
When you sign up for membership or to attend an Event through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records to communicate with you, to defend against legal claims, detect fraud and for such time periods in which we have legitimate business interest in doing so after such period we will honor requests to delete information at the user’s request upon confirmation of their identity.  When you express interest in attending an event or decide to attend an event we will maintain your Event Data unless you ask us to delete your information

YOUR CHOICES
To remove yourself from our email lists or unsubscribe, follow the unsubscribe information at the bottom of the page.While we retain Order Information and Event Data for such period as we may have legitimate business interest to do so, we will honor all requests to unsubscribe and removal from marketing lists.If you would like to remove your User Content, you may do so through the social media platform you post it through.  For reviews and User Content posted on our site, you may contact us to remove such User Content at [email protected]

YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
California residents may request and obtain from us, once a year, free of charge, a list of third parties, if any, to which we disclosed their Personal Information for direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year and the categories of Personal Information shared with those third parties. CHILDREN
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from or about children under sixteen years of age. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us at [email protected] . We will work to remove such information within a reasonable time.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER
Your information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. We do not market to or hold events outside of the United States at this time. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, AI LA transfers Personal Information to the United States and processes it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
The privacy and protection of your information is important to us. Except as expressly provided in this Privacy Policy, we do not make any Personal Information available to third parties without your permission or authorization and take reasonable steps to secure your Personal Information. The security of your Personal Information and that of your customers is important to us. But remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES OR SERVICES
Throughout our Site, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites, collectively referred to as third Party links. We are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those third Party links, or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy also does not apply to those third Party links nor do the Privacy Policies of third Party links apply to our Site or the products and services we provide through the Site.
